JPMorgan Chase is funding innovative solutions to address economic inequality and Abt is serving as JPMorgan Chase’s national evaluation partner for the AdvancingCities Challenge and PRO Neighborhoods competitions. In this role, we evaluated the outcomes and impact of investments of the AdvancingCities grantees. This report also captures lessons learned from 2019’s five grantees in the following areas:

  • Enhancing service offerings to meet participants’ needs.
  • Increasing support for small businesses to help them survive and thrive.
