Andrew Alderdice has more than 35 years of experience working in the health and human services sectors in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific and is currently leading Abt’s consultancy practice in Australia. Andrew has worked in a variety of roles, including as a consultant, executive manager, and clinician. He holds an MBA and has more than 25 years’ experience in executive-level positions, including as director of a private consulting firm. Francesca Lawe-Davies leads Abt’s International Technical Practice, a technical team that focuses on innovation to deliver quality services for marginalised populations. She is a senior development specialist with more than 18 years of experience in government, non-government, private sector, and multilateral development organisations. She has broad experience leading teams on complex development programs across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. Her areas of expertise include education, decentralised service delivery, equity and inclusion, social development, and conflict and fragility. Before coming to Abt, Francesca worked as a senior consultant with Alinea International. Before that, she worked for a decade with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), designing, managing, and reviewing large scale programs for DFAT and the World Bank across Asia and the Pacific. Sanjoti Parekh, Ph.D.
Dr. Sanjoti Parekh has 20 years of experience serving in leadership, management, and advisory roles in the Australian healthcare industry. Prior to that she worked as a clinician for five years. With expertise in public health, epidemiology, and primary care, she leads policy and program reviews, health services planning, development of population health strategies, and evaluations. She has worked for the Departments of Health and Veteran Affairs and Dental Health Services, Victoria. Sanjoti manages consulting projects that span physical health, mental health, rare disease, disability, and child protection. She has published 26 peer-reviewed journal articles. Jane Pepperall is our Health Lead in Abt’s International Technical Practice, which focuses on good practice, evidence, and innovation to deliver equitable, quality services. Jane has extensive experience contributing to global health policy and supporting national health sectors in the Pacific, Asia, and Africa. She has provided strategy, policy, and technical health advice to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at global, regional, and country levels as their Senior Health Adviser for the last seven years. Jane worked for the UK Department for International Development (now the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) for 20 years, including health adviser postings in Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Pakistan, and Fiji. Jane has a bachelor in Biological Anthropology from Cambridge University and a Master’s in Health Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Anar Ulikpan is a public health researcher with more than 15 years’ experience in the health sector. Her work has ranged from monitoring and evaluation of health programmes, health needs assessments, and health policy and planning to public health research and teaching, clinical medicine, and international health and health systems. Since 2016 she has worked on various Australian domestic primary health and social service program evaluations. Her international health experience includes working with organisations such as World Health Organisation, EPOS Health Management Consulting, Asian Development Bank, and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
