Abt’s Nichole Fiore provided background for this comprehensive piece from CalMatters on California’s use of housing vouchers to combat homelessness. Our recent study for the Hilton Foundation on the use of federal Housing Choice Vouchers (HCVs) was cited in the article. We found that landlord incentives and counselling for voucher recipients improved the efficacy of HCVs.
