Understanding Rapid Re-housing through Participants’ Experiences

Rapid re-housing (RRH) provides temporary assistance to people experiencing homelessness,  moving them quickly into permanent housing and allowing them to stabilize there. The Understanding Rapid Re-housing study, conducted by Abt for HUD, is a four-year project representing the first comprehensive documentation of RRH programs nationwide. This report offers insight into the 16 households that met regularly with researchers over a 16-month period to discuss their experience in RRH.
