Graham Teskey leads Abt Global’s Global Governance practice out of Canberra, Australia. He has 40 years of experience in governance and international development. He has worked with (and for) for the U.K.’s Department for International Development, (the forerunner to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office), the World Bank, and Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Graham has lived and worked in multiple countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Fiji, Vanuatu, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Philippines, and Timor-Leste.

Patrick Ransom is an environmental engineer and certified cost estimator with more than 30 years of experience evaluating environmental technologies, policies, and regulatory costs. 

Dereje Dengela is an epidemiologist and entomologist with more than 25 years of experience in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of malaria control programs. He has extensive managerial experience, having supervised as many as 94 professionals. He has held senior positions with the government of Ethiopia, worked on projects for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and served as a national malaria program officer in Ethiopia. He supported the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in mobilization of financial resources from donors, particularly the Global Fund. Dengela has authored or co-authored more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Elizabeth Giardino’s evaluation and technical assistance work on housing, community development, asset building, and government innovation policies and programs promotes opportunity and healthy outcomes for people across the U.S. Giardino specializes in leading teams, strategic planning, and relationship building, and has proven expertise in incorporating community-based participatory research into technical assistance engagements.

Melanie Metropolit is a public health strategist with more than 20 years of experience across federal health, research, and international development initiatives.

Jennifer S. Riggs, Ph.D., brings her extensive research, policy, and nursing experience to improve care for patients, especially older adults. Her clinical area of expertise is Medicare-certified home health and home and community-based care for adults and older adults with multiple co-occurring chronic conditions and complex care coordination needs.

Laura Blake has more than 20 years of experience in leading scientific programs and research in the environmental science and policy domain. She has deep expertise in surface water quality restoration and protection and has spent her career designing and implementing scientific studies to support efforts to protect human health and aquatic environments. She has significant knowledge of Clean Water Act rules and regulations and has extensive experience supporting federal and state regulatory programs with implementation of and compliance with the federal Clean Water Act.
