Sarah Prezek is a senior program and project management professional with more than 10 years of experience managing complex federal programs, multidisciplinary teams, and large project portfolios. She has extensive experience working with federal agencies across human services, education, health, and regulatory programs, as well as technology modernization and innovation initiatives. Prezek’s expertise includes program and portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, technology modernization, and translating complex client priorities into effective program implementation and delivery.
At Abt, Prezek supports a broad portfolio of research, evaluation, technical assistance, and implementation projects for federal human services clients, including the U.S. Departments of Education (ED), U.S. Department of Labor, Social Security Administration, and Administration for Children and Families. She works across multidisciplinary teams to strengthen project delivery, address emerging risks, and align resources with client priorities. She manages complex partnerships and coordinates researchers, technical experts, operational teams, subcontractors, and clients to successfully deliver large and multifaceted programs.
Before joining Abt, Prezek spent six years supporting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration(FDA) on technology modernization, data management, and innovation initiatives. She managed a modernization program spanning eight contracts and more than 150 staff as well as supported enterprise data initiatives across all FDA Centers/Offices. She also managed precisionFDA community challenges, coordinating operations, stakeholder engagement, communications, and data-use agreements. Her work brought together federal leaders, scientists, technologists, and industry stakeholders to advance complex modernization and innovation initiatives.
