As evaluator of the AgResults initiative, Abt Global prepared this baseline report as part of its evaluation of the Uganda Legume Seed Challenge Project. The report includes our findings on the market for quality legume seed and on factors associated with adoption of quality seed. It also contains results of a seed-quality assessment, which showed that in many cases farmers thought they used quality seed when in fact their seed failed to pass quality tests.
