Dr. Lianne Fisman is an experienced researcher and a recognized expert in qualitative and mixed method research design, and analysis. She specializes in evaluating and strengthening programs that support economically disadvantaged individuals and communities. Dr. Fisman currently leads Abt’s Qualitative and Mixed Methods sub-capability. During her tenure at Abt, Dr. Fisman has served as project director and task leader on projects related to a variety of policy areas, including housing, youth and community development, education, and financial wellness.

Bradford Lucas is an expert in international health and social marketing with more than 20 years of experience leading complex global health projects and managing large teams. His program experience includes malaria and child health, reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS, and he has worked in numerous countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Throughout his career, Lucas has been recognized for his thought leadership and initiative in piloting, scaling up, and replicating new products, services, and approaches; improving processes; and disseminating best practices.

Patrick Ransom is an environmental engineer and certified cost estimator with more than 30 years of experience evaluating environmental technologies, policies, and regulatory costs. 

Radha Roy is a mixed-methods researcher and senior evaluation leader with over 16 years of experience designing and directing large-scale federal evaluations of workforce development, income support, and education programs.

Diane Fraser started out working in art departments for a marketing product manufacturer in high school and a consulting firm in college. After college, she began a career in non-profits, where she developed and managed communications, public relations, fundraising, and events.

Gary L. Perlin, the retired chief financial officer of Capital One Financial Corporation, is the non-executive chairman of Abt Global’s Board of Directors.Perlin has more than three decades of experience in senior finance roles in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. As CFO of Capital One – one of the largest financial services companies in the nation – Perlin was responsible for the company’s overall financial management. He was named “Best Finance Company CFO” for four years by Institutional Investor magazine between 2007 and 2011.

Sanjoti Parekh has 20 years of experience serving in leadership, management, and advisory roles in the Australian healthcare industry. Prior to that she worked as a clinician for five years. With expertise in public health, epidemiology, and primary care, she leads policy and program reviews, rapid and systematic literature reviews, health services planning, and development of population health strategies. In addition, Sanjoti oversees outcome and impact evaluations, post-implementation reviews, and quality-improvement, governance, and research programs.

Lauren Pittenger comes to Abt with more than 20 years of experience working in or as a consultant to federal government agencies. She has strong grounding in research and research-based consulting to government clients. She also has extensive experience leading and growing business, managing technical and scientific projects, and coaching and supporting account teams. She has served as a director at Guidehouse, scientific program manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, and lab manager at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She has worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Canadian Public Health Laboratory Network, the Gates Foundation and the Association of Public Health Laboratories.

Meaghan E. Glenn is a social science research associate with more than 10 years of experience designing and conducting public health and nutrition research and evaluation studies.

James Gilling, regional vice president, East Asia and Pacific, has almost 40 years of experience in social and economic development in low- and middle-income countries. He has overseen Australian aid programs worth hundreds of millions of dollars and managed large teams of Australian and overseas staff, including as head of the Australian aid program in Indonesia. James has worked for United Kingdom (UK) and Papua New Guinea governments as an agricultural economist. He has also worked as a consultant economist with Oxford Policy Management in the UK and was an economic analyst with the Office of National Assessments in Australia.
