Mariandrea Chamorro has 20 years of experience managing international development programs. She has provided oversight for the high-quality and compliant execution of large flagship USAID programs while contributing to business development. Chamorro’s areas of expertise include prevention of vector-borne diseases, infectious diseases, maternal and child health, and health systems strengthening. Her clients have included the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and the UK’s Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). 

Geoff Scahill has over 20 years of experience working in and managing international development programs. He has worked extensively within Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Pacific – predominantly in Indonesia, Fiji, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands. He brings a long history as a health sector professional and has held roles as a health management advisor and health systems adviser in Pacific Island Countries. Geoff draws on his background in finance and economics to work with counterparts to increase efficiencies within the programs Abt Global delivers.

Sanjoti Parekh has 20 years of experience serving in leadership, management, and advisory roles in the Australian healthcare industry. Prior to that she worked as a clinician for five years. With expertise in public health, epidemiology, and primary care, she leads policy and program reviews, rapid and systematic literature reviews, health services planning, and development of population health strategies. In addition, Sanjoti oversees outcome and impact evaluations, post-implementation reviews, and quality-improvement, governance, and research programs.

Matthew Eby has over 20 years of leadership experience in supporting life science research and consulting for military, federal public health, and international agencies. His diverse career spans basic and applied research on environmental bioremediation, designing nanomaterials to combat antimicrobial resistance, and protecting our nation against bioterrorism. He also led federal and international agencies in modernizing public health systems and pandemic response efforts. Clients have included the Air Force, Navy, Army, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health, and United Arab Emirates. He  has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications with 1000+ citations. He also is an active supporter of local community initiatives that tackle affordable housing, food insecurity, and systemic poverty.

Manoj P. Singh is the former chief operating officer and global managing director at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ltd.  Prior to his mandatory retirement in June 2015, Singh’s responsibilities included leading various Deloitte initiatives, including setting global strategy, directing investments globally, leading areas such as finance, global technology, knowledge management, branding, and guiding country leadership in high-growth markets such as China, India, Africa, Southeast Asia, Mexico and Germany.

Leonard M. Hicks, whose 20+ years of experience in business operations and financial management includes leading large-scale growth and transformation for Lockheed Martin and the Mission Essential Group, is Abt Global’s chief financial officer and a member of the executive management team. He is a proven entrepreneur who brings best-in-class leadership and collaborative approaches to problem solving.

Adam Schaefer has over 16 years’ experience developing and managing environmental epidemiology research and evaluation projects. He is an expert in the health impacts of environmental exposures and has worked on both national and international projects, focusing on infectious disease, toxicology, health surveillance, and One Health. Before coming to Abt, Schaefer was a researcher at Florida Atlantic University. He has published numerous epidemiological studies in peer-reviewed journals.

David Kaz, a principal associate in Abt’s Social and Economic Policy Division, has nearly 20 years of experience providing technical assistance, training, research, and policy analysis. He has worked on a wide range of programs and policies that affect low-income populations. He has directed, designed, and conducted both large- and small-scale, multi-faceted technical assistance projects for federal and state agencies and other clients and stakeholders. Clients have included the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service, Washington State’s Department of Social and Health Services, King County, and the City of Seattle. He has worked on workforce legislation with members of Congress.

Baris Yener has more than 25 years of experience in executive leadership, growth strategy development, and organizational transformation. His business-development and project work has involved a wide range of clients, including the World Bank, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other private sector and federal agencies.As Chief Client Officer at Abt, Yener leads client strategy and growth to ensure the voice of the customer drives investment decisions, capability development, and market execution. 

Ally Lynch has nine years of experience managing international development and humanitarian projects in the Asia Pacific region. She has led programming across a range of impact areas, including nature-based solutions for climate, food security, livelihoods, climate resilience, and disaster risk reduction.
