Austin Gooden is a software architect at TSPi, a Division of Abt Global, with 6 years of experience delivering innovative software solutions in the public sector. With expertise spanning the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Gooden has worked across a broad range of technologies, from Low-Code/No-Code platforms to legacy frameworks and multiple programming languages.  He has successfully delivered a variety of solutions for the U.S. Federal Government that enable systems to adapt seamlessly to congressional mandates, agency policies, and program definition, all while achieving the mission objectives of the IT initiative.

Abt will join governments, the private sector, and civil society at the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) this November to accelerate climate action.

For more than 35 years, Abt has delivered extensive regulatory support services to state and federal clients, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Transportation, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of the Interior, Coast Guard, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

For more than 25 years, Abt staff have been leaders and innovators in the NRDA field. We have assisted federal, state, and tribal natural resource agencies (who serve as trustees of natural resources on behalf of the public) with scientific, economic, legal, and strategic support on more than 150 NRDA cases around the country and in U.S. territories.

Our toxicologists design, implement, conduct and manage a wide range of laboratory and field-based bioassays, investigations and other tests to fill key data gaps and increase our understanding of the adverse effects of chemicals, mixtures, and other stressors on numerous organisms, including bacteria, algae, invertebrates, fish, reptiles, birds, and mammals.

Abt provides technical assistance to stakeholders to advance methane mitigation and capture strategies across countries and sectors.

Abt has extensive experience investigating and addressing the complex effects of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the environment and on human health.
