This Privacy Policy describes Abt Global’s data processing as a controller of personal information. Certain personal information may be considered “sensitive” or “special categories” of personal information under applicable privacy laws. Sensitive personal information includes but is not limited to, information or an opinion about an individual’s: racial or ethnic origin; political opinions; membership of a political association or trade union; religious beliefs or affiliations; philosophical beliefs; sexual orientation or practices; criminal record; and/or medical record.

Abt Global will only collect sensitive personal information in circumstances where it is reasonably necessary for one or more of the services that we provide or functions that we carry out, and the relevant individual consents to the collection of the information or we are otherwise required or authorized by or under law or a court/tribunal order to collect the sensitive personal information, or a permitted health situation exists that allows Abt Global to collect such sensitive personal information.

Cookies and Other Online Tracking Technologies

We and our third–party partners and service providers (such as advertising networks, analytics providers and social media platforms and networks) use pixels, web beacons, software developer kits, cookies, and other online tracking technologies (collectively, “online tracking technologies”) to gather information when you interact with our websites or email communications. Using online tracking technologies enables us to (1) deliver the content of our Services correctly, (2) optimize the content of our Services as well as its advertisement, (3) ensure the long-term viability of our information technology systems and website technology, and (4) provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for criminal prosecution in case of a cyber-attack.

We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on our websites for analytics and advertising, including to help manage and display advertisements and to tailor advertisements to your interests. These third parties may collect personal information about you over time and across third-party websites when you use our Services. The websites do not respond to “do not track” signals sent by Internet browsers.

Children’s Privacy

Abt Global’s offerings are not directed to children, and Abt Global does not knowingly collect or disclose personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. You must be 18 years of age or older in order to establish an account through the website or engage in any other form of communication with us.  If you believe that we have collected personal information about someone under 18 years of age, please email privacy@abtassoc.com and we will take steps to delete the information.

How We Protect Your Information

Abt Global is committed to keeping personal information secure and safe, and takes reasonable technical, physical, and administrative steps to help ensure that personal information is appropriately protected from misuse, loss, modification, or unauthorized access or disclosure.
