Senior Program Manager

Bio

Iris has over 9 years’ experience managing international development projects in the Asia Pacific region. In her role as Senior Program Manager based in Brisbane, Australia, she currently is closely involved with Abt managed programs in Sri Lanka and Timor-Leste for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). 

She provides operational support to program teams on human resources management, financial management, risk management, training and capacity building, and developing and implementing effective processes and manuals.

Since 2020, Iris leads the annual reporting process for selected Abt Global managed programs. Iris leads the process, overseeing and managing inputs from teams across corporate departments and program teams in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Fiji and Australia.

In her role, Iris supports the Abt’s Australian International Technical Practice (ITP) and has worked closely with the Senior Management team since its establishment in 2019. She provides support on operational management including establishing and implementing new processes, policies and manuals, financial management, budget reporting activities and forecasting, risk management, and support on global systems roll out. Iris manages the contracting, budgets and other operational needs for consultancies held by ITP across a range of clients.
