The PACE Experience: Staff Reflections

Pathways for Advancing Careers and Education (PACE) is the first rigorous, multi-site evaluation of “career pathways” programs. In this brief, “We Get a Chance to Show Impact,” Program Staff Reflect on Participating in a Rigorous, Multi-site Evaluation, leadership and staff from eight of the nine programs in the study describe their experiences implementing the evaluation and procedures and the benefits of and barriers to a randomized controlled trial study. They discuss how they overcame challenges and lessons they learned. They also reflect on the benefits programs find most valuable and how evaluators can provide support.
